Gliderol Garage Doors has been manufacturing in Australia since 1976 and is now part of the global ASSA ABLOY group. Strong heritage in residential roller doors and a wide commercial roller shutter range. We are a long-standing Gliderol dealer with factory ordering and warranty access.

Gliderol repairs and parts

Common Gliderol repair work: Glidermatic opener failures (capacitors, drive gears, limit assemblies), roller door curtain re-tensioning, axle bearing replacement, broken bottom rails after vehicle impact, weather seal replacement and remote re-pairing. Standard $185 service callout, most repairs completed inside the first visit.

Pricing guide

Gliderol residential roller door installed from $1,650 (single). Sectional from $1,890 (single) / $2,490 (double). Glidermatic opener supplied and fitted from $595. Commercial roller shutters quoted on-site. Every quote free and itemised.

Installation — what to expect

A Gliderol roller door install on an existing opening takes two to four hours — remove the old door, fit new guides, mount the rolled curtain, fit the spring assembly, install the Glidermatic opener, programme the limits and remotes, walk you through operation. Full new opening plus door allow a half day.

Servicing schedule

Annual service for residential, quarterly for commercial. Our $185 service covers curtain tension, axle bearing lubrication, guide inspection, weather seal check, opener gear and limit verification, safety beam alignment and remote test.

Warranty cover

Gliderol residential roller doors carry a manufacturer warranty (terms vary by model and finish). Glidermatic openers carry 24 months. Our lifetime workmanship warranty on top covers the install work.
