Bundamba — Ipswich

Garage Doors & Gates in Bundamba, Ipswich

Bundamba is part of our weekly Ipswich run. From spring replacements and motor swaps to new sectional door installs and full driveway gate automation, we cover Bundamba the same way we cover the rest of Ipswich — one team, same-day where we can, all the common parts on the truck.

About Bundamba

Bundamba is one of the original Ipswich working suburbs — a tight mix of post-war timber homes, brick veneers from the 70s and 80s and the newer infill builds along Brisbane Road. Most homes here have a single carport or roller-door garage, and B&D is by far the most common brand on the existing stock. We do regular spring and motor work along Brisbane Road, Bundamba Creek Road and the side streets around the racecourse.

What we do here

New garage door installation (sectional panel-lift, Colorbond roller, insulated and custom), garage door repairs (broken springs, off-track doors, motor failure, snapped cables, weather seals), motor and opener replacement (B&D, Merlin, Steel-Line, Chamberlain), driveway gate installation and automation (Centsys, FAAC, Nice, BFT), and insurance work for hail, storm and impact damage across Bundamba.

Brands and pricing

Standard residential sectional door from $1,890 supplied and installed (single), $2,490 (double). Motor replacement $495–$895. Spring pair $295–$495. Sliding gate with Centsys automation from $4,495. Free measure-up across Bundamba.

Same-day service

Bundamba is well inside our daily Ipswich run. Most repair callouts are on-site the same day for jobs phoned in before lunch. After-hours emergency cover seven nights.

Older B&D doors and ageing spring sets

A huge proportion of Bundamba homes still run original 1980s and 1990s B&D Roll-A-Door and Panelift doors. The most common call here is a snapped torsion spring on a roller door that has done 20+ years of cycles — we carry full B&D-spec spring sets, cables, drums and bearings on the truck, so most jobs are fixed in a single visit. While we're on site we re-tension, lubricate the curtain and re-check the safety beam alignment on the opener.

Streets and estates we cover

We work daily along Brisbane Road, Bundamba Creek Road, Stafford Street and the newer estates off Pine Mountain Road. The infill builds along the racecourse precinct are mostly double sectional Colorbond doors with Merlin or B&D Controll-A-Door openers — we stock Surfmist, Monument, Basalt and Woodland Grey panels for fast like-for-like replacement after storm damage.
