About FAAC

FAAC S.p.A. is one of the oldest and most respected gate-automation brands in the world, manufactured in Italy since 1965. The Australian range covers sliding operators, swing motors (articulated and ram-style), underground operators, traffic barriers and a full access-control accessory line. We are a FAAC dealer with factory parts and warranty access.

FAAC repairs and parts

Common FAAC repairs: control board (E024S / E045) replacement after surge, drive belt and gear inspection on the 740, hydraulic seal service on the 412 swing rams, S418 articulated arm worm-gear service, encoder and limit faults. Parts on the truck for the current 740/844/S418 ranges.

Installation — what to expect

A FAAC 740 install on an existing sliding gate takes a half to full day: bolt the operator down, fit the toothed rack, install the limit magnets, run power, mount safety beams, programme the E024S control board and pair the remotes. S418 swing pair install is a full day. 412 hydraulic swing is one to two days plus civil for the ram mounts.

Servicing schedule

FAAC operators benefit from annual service. Our $185 covers drive gear/rack inspection, hydraulic seal check on ram operators, control board diagnostics, encoder calibration, safety beam alignment, battery (where fitted) and remote test.

Warranty cover

FAAC operators carry a 24-month manufacturer warranty (hydraulic units 24 months on seals). Our lifetime workmanship warranty on top. Warranty claims handled direct with the Australian distributor.
